Department of Zoology, Botany and Flauna Friends Club are organizing a Plantation and Awareness Program on World Wetlands Day (02.02.2022). Venue will be Government Senior Secondary School, Magra (Ajmer Rural) and Magra Pond.
Only Department of Zoology, Botany and Flauna Friends Club members will be participants of the program.

On the Occasion of World Wetlands Day- 2023 on the theme of “Its’ time for wetland Restoration” students of Department of Zoology, Botany and Nature and Wildlife Club- Flauna Friends’ Club planted 25 plants at Government Senior Secondary School, Magra (Ajmer Rural) and near Magra Pond (Naadi) under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and NSS. College Director and secretary Subhash Agarwal told about conservation of wetland, Principal Dr. Ravi Sharma emphasize on the work of institutions, NGO and environmentalist towards these important wetlands. Event and UBA Coordinator Vishvajeet Jaroli, Head, PG Department of Zoology aware the students about importance of wetlands and its connection to tourism and employability of local people. Geeta Verma, program coordinator, NSS coordinator Dr. Ruchi Mishra, Dr. Radha Gupta, Ruchi Chauhan, Jyoti Chouhan, Simranjeet Kaur, Administrative Officer Amit Dadhich, Kanika Gupta, Vandana Joshi, Ninku Tak, Neha Sharma with School Principal Alka Samarwal, Lecturer Kailash Chand Fulwari, Javed Ahmad, Rajendra Chaudhary, Jhalendra Singh guided the students for plantation in school campus and Magra Pond.
