Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. To inculcate this leadership quality in our Wonder Girls, the Personality Development Club of our college is organizing the Investiture Ceremony for newly nominated office bearers of the clubs on 12th January 2023 (National Youth Day). The nominated office bearers will introduce themselves and they will be conferred with badges and sashes by the Esteemed Guests and Principal Sir. The student council will then take the pledge to hold the college motto in high esteem. The event will also be comprised of power-packed performances by the students to celebrate National Youth Day.

National Youth Day Celebration and Investiture Ceremony

Abhyuday – the Personality Development club of our college today celebrated National Youth Day. In the activity along with the power-packed performances by the students, in the Investiture ceremony, the newly designated office bearers of the Clubs and Committees also administered the Oath and swore to promote and voice for the development of the clubs, college, society, and nation.

The event started with lamp lighting and pushpanjali to Swami Vivekanand Ji. The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. B. P. Saraswat (Former Head, Department of Commerce, MDS University, Ajmer). Our honorable Director and Secretary, CA Subhash Agrawal Sir and Dr. Ravi Sharma (Principal), and Dr. Mitesh Juneja(Event Coordinator) gave floral welcome to the Chief Guest.

In his welcome address, Dr. Ravi Sharma (Principal, SRK Patni Girls' College) said that Youth is the future of humanity and deserves to be celebrated! National Youth Day is the perfect time to show appreciation for and celebrate all young people in the world who have all of the potentials for making this world a better place to live. He also expressed his views on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda being the ideal role model for the youth of the country.

Dr. Mitesh Juneja (Event Coordinator) expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries present and said that blessed is our India land, where such a great man was born, we need to follow the literature of Swamiji only then the students will be given a new direction.

In the investiture ceremony, the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Executive Members were designated in all the 12 clubs of the college and committees for greater exposure and holistic development. The newly appointed student club council marched impressively under colorful flags and were inducted into their duties. The ceremonial pinning of badges and handing over of sashes and badges to the Student Club Council members was solemnized by the corresponding club coordinators.

In his address, the Chief Guest of the Event, Prof. Sarswat said that Swami Vivekananda was a great thinker, philosopher, young monk, sharp speaker, and ideal personality. Swami ji, who has revived the Indian cultural consciousness, awakened self-esteem in the Indian youth and created a new ray of hope. All of us should take inspiration from the life and thoughts of Swami ji, the pioneer of the Indian Renaissance.

Dr. Anil Kumar Parashar (Principal, SRK Patni Girls' Nursing College) in his address provided valuable insight into how the youth in today’s world can lead a fulfilling life by following Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts. It is a great way to wake up the eternal energy of the youth as well as to make the country develop.

Prizes and certificates of the winners of various competitions organized on Vishva Hindi Divas in collaboration with the Bank of Baroda, Kishangarh were also distributed. Invited guests from the Bank of Baroda distributed the prizes and certificates to the students.

Director and Secretary, CA Subhash Agrawal Sir, with his speech, filled our wonder girls with energy with his words. He spoke on the vision of Swami Vivekananda and how the students the present youth of the country contribute towards nation-building. He stressed that only focused youth who have good character, are enlightened, and are strong-willed can bring desirable changes in society. The focus of education should be to encourage such scientific innovations which can solve the problems of human beings.

A vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Rubal Rajora (Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics). The compèring of the entire event was done by Dr. Hukam Singh Champawat (Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi).
