On February 17, 2024, the picturesque campus of R.K. Patni Girls College in Madangunj-Kishangarh, Ajmer, hosted the esteemed National Art Seminar on the rich cultural tapestry of Ajmer Merewada. The event, organized in collaboration with Sanskar Bharati Chittorgarh, delved into the themes of Literature, Music-Dance, and Architecture.

The event was a tapestry of vibrant presentations, showcasing research papers and art displays, including captivating Chari Nritya performances and soulful music presentations. This initiative by the college management aimed at enhancing artistic appreciation and cultural awareness.The inaugural session of the seminar was addressed by the chief guest, Dr. Lokesh Kumar Shekhawat, the former Vice-Chancellor of Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. He highlighted the significant contribution of art in the development of any country." The main speaker of the event, Dr. Ram Jayaswal, former head of the Lalit Kala Vibhag at Dayanand Mahavidyalaya, Ajmer, expressed that art introduces us to the aesthetic sensibilities of humanity and is the offspring of human culture." The distinguished guest, Ghanashyam Agrawal, President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, highlighted that Indian folk art is fundamentally rooted in the rural regions, carried forward and preserved by common people and specific tribal communities in various pockets and hinterlands." "Dr. Suresh Bablani, the head of the North-West region of Sanskar Bharati, stated that the purpose of art is the creation of beauty. Undoubtedly, the goal of art is to affirm the creation of beauty and it serves as the key to our spiritual joy.
Subhash Agrawal, the Director and Secretary of the College Management Committee, emphasized that Sanskar Bharati is bringing Indian folk arts into the limelight. He highlighted the need to awaken society so that we can safeguard our artistic culture.
Principal Dr. Shailendra Patni conveyed that Lok Kalyan (folk welfare) is not merely a means of entertainment, but it also encompasses history, science, and a profound understanding of life."
"Satish Acharya, the State Minister of Sanskar Bharati, shared that the first technical session of the seminar focused on literature and music, with Dr. Satish Kumar, Additional Director in the Administrative Secretary's office in Jaipur, presiding over it. The second and third sessions of the seminar revolved around art and architecture, and Dr. Abhinav Kamal Raina, retired from Seva Nivrutti, and formerly the Head of the Department at Acharya Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Nasirabad, chaired these sessions." "Sanskriti Bharati's coordinator for the Chittorgarh region, Birdee Chand Malakar, and the secretary for the seminar, presented a detailed overview of the proceedings in the diverse sessions of the seminar held in Ajmer Merewada. The deputy secretaries for the seminar, Krishna Gopal Parashar and Kamalkant Kinkar, highlighted that scholars and educators from across the country actively participated by presenting their research papers related to folk culture in this seminar."
