"Empowering Girls, Empowering the World!"
Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Girls' College, Kishangarh, celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child on 11th October 2023, with the Departments of Sociology and Education collaborating to host a Spot Poster Making Competition and a Biography Submission Competition. Dr. Mitesh Juneja, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, and Dr. Smita Pancholi, Head of the Department of Education, were the coordinators of the event and competitions.
The campus was abuzz with excitement as students showcased their creativity and passion for girl empowerment through their posters and biographies. Students from different faculties and departments participated in the poster making competition, and the judges were impressed by the quality of the artwork. The biography submission competition also saw a tremendous response, with students submitting inspiring stories of women who have made a significant impact on the world.
After careful deliberation, the judges selected the winners for both competitions. The winners will be awarded certificates during the college's upcoming Annual Day Function. The results of the competitions are as follows:
Spot Poster Making Competition: First Position - Kanishka Bacolia - B.A. B.Ed. Part III, Second Position - Muskan Bhati - B.A. B.Ed. Part III, Third Position - Ayushi - B.Sc. B.Ed. Part I, Krishna Jhadotiya - B.A. Part II, and Avani Ranka - B.A. Part II.
Biography Submission Competition: First Position - Najmeen Bano - B.A. Part I and Renuka Saini - B.A. Part I, Second Position - Teena Mulani - B.A. Part III, Third Position - Annapurna Sharma and Monu Vaishnav - B.A. B.Ed. Part III.
College faculty members Dr. Ruchi Mishra, Dr. Varsha Jain, and Ms. Manisha Yadav were the judges of the competitions.
CA Subhash Agarwal (Director and Secretary, College Management Committee) and Dr. Ravi Sharma (Principal) congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the Sociology and Education Departments for organizing these impactful events.
