PG Department of Geography facilitated IIRS One Day Online Workshop on 24th August 2023, entitled “Integration of ground based in situ observations/measurements with EO data for enhanced Geological Applications: Advantages and Challenges ” in the Seminar Hall..The participants who could not attend the workshop in the college campus, attended the workshop through online login on IIRS E-Class portal.
The main objective of this workshop was to spread awareness about the importance and applications of Geological Applications. UG and PG students along with Faculty members participated in the workshop.
Dr. Ravi Sharma, Principal, and CA Subhash Agarwal, Director and Secretary of College Management Committee encouraged the students to participate in such outreach Programmes in the future also. IIRS, ISRO Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Rohini Yadawar and Ms. Kajal Yadav highlighted that workshop participants were familiarised with different applications of Geological Sciences. Dr. Pooja Bagri, Ms. Kavita Priyadarshini, Ms. Ankita Pareek and Ms. Meena Rani Jain also attended the workshop with other faculty members.
